Rafael López-Diéguez Gamoneda

With over 45 years of experience in business law and strategic consulting, Rafael López-Diéguez Gamoneda is a leading figure in corporate advisory and large-scale wealth and investment management. He currently combines his role as Chairman of a prominent Spanish family office —overseeing a portfolio of more than 30 strategic assets— with the leadership of RLD, the firm he founded and where he serves as Managing Partner.

Throughout his career, he has specialised in structuring and executing complex domestic and cross-border transactions, spanning corporate, financial and legal advisory work. His deep command of Spanish corporate law has established him as a trusted adviser to boards of directors and high-net-worth families, and he serves regularly as Secretary and Member of the Board of Directors of a range of Spanish and international companies.

He also maintains a significant institutional and academic presence, holding a full academic chair and sitting on the advisory boards of Spain’s principal diplomatic institutions.

He practises bilingually in Spanish and English.
